Our Adoption: Week 10

How Far Along: 10 weeks
How I'm feeling: A little impatient, a little excited...
Gender: BOY!  HOPING WE HEAR SOON SO IT'S OFFICIAL!
Total of bills so far: $5274.21
Total money raised: $1286

Cherry Blossom Charity fundraiser - all three trees were given away!  $300 came in this week for the adoption fund!  YEAH!

Favorite moments: Sending in our Letter of Intent!  It was especially fun because Daddy brought me candy and flowers to celebrate the day!!

Things learned: That it can be kind of arbitrary as to when China will get through our file at any given stage in the process.  We learned about a "desk cleaning phenominon" which is when a lot of families paperwork gets done very quickly after a lag.  We became part of a DTC (dossier to China) group on Facebook.  I'm not sure if this is going to help or hurt.  It's nice to learn so much, but it's also a bit consuming me... I think watching everyone else get pre-approvals in 4 days set us up to think we'll get the same quick turn-around.
What I am looking forward to: Hearing officially that our little guy is ours!
