Getting pre-approval this early doesn't exactly speed up any of the process. Unfortunately, we have just as long of a wait now. We just know who we are waiting for. But the question still remains - how long is the wait?
Well, that is a little tricky to answer. We have been told the process takes 12-18 months. We started this process at the end of January. You can do the math and that puts us into next year.
I of course am praying for sooner than that. I hope that Sammy is home before Christmas. I am asking God to put a tail wind on all our paperwork - to make it process quickly here in the States and then to be at the tops of the piles in China!
