Our Adoption: Week 28

How Far Along: 28 weeks
How I'm feeling: happy
Gendera little boy
Total of bills so far: $11,685.71
(You can see what bills we've paid in the sidebar.)
Total money raised: $8472.64
Favorite Moments: We made it through the rummage sale - although it was SUPER cold!!! We were chilled to the bone by the end of the day - who would have thought it would be only 50 degrees in JULY!?!?!  But we made $489.38 after some late-comer shoppers this past week!  Praise the Lord!!
Also, we are keeping 4 other children with us until further notice while their mom is in the hospital recovering from an emergency c-section.  Baby boy is not doing well and is in ICU currently.  We've SOOO enjoyed having a BIG family and I've even gotten a kick out of driving a 12 passenger van around.
We took our three kids to see The Music Man which was really fun!  Titus loved it, and Lily was totally into it.  Phoebe liked the scene changes when all the stage crew in black moved the pieces around the stage.  The music was amazing and the cast and acting was great!  We laughed A LOT.  Now the girls (mostly Phoebe) are singing Sha-poopy!  LOL - they are so confused by it.  I tried to explain that the music man was making them think that foolish things were now the best thing (kind of similar to the Emperor's New Clothes concept).
Oh and it's fair time again so while teen-girl slept in late, I took the 6 other children to the country fair.  It was so fun.  Cows, pigs, oh and this new thing having to do with a human hamster wheel - kids or adults get inside this giant ball blown up with a leaf blower and then sealed - SEALED - and get put in a swimming pool and get to run around in the ball!  I almost hyperventilated just looking at it!!!  Then we had a picnic lunch... well after the kids milked a pretend cow and went through the petting farm and played in the corn box (like a sand box but filled with corn).
Things learned:  God gives parents the Holy Spirit and I truly see that as an incredible gift.  I feel like God has been giving me the ideas and words this week to be a good parent to all the kids - it's been really incredible to feel God working it out and being able to be one of the pieces in the puzzle!
What we're waiting for:  LOA - Letter of Approval.  We are starting our travel paperwork... visas for us, visa for Sammy, etc.
What I am looking forward to:  This  is what I wrote last week: "After the rummage, life will finally get a little more normal of a pace instead of constantly hectic full-speed ahead.  I'm looking forward to a little down time and also to see what God does with the rummage.  :)"  LOL - And God says, WHATEVER!!!  You'd hate a normal paced life!

These are some pics of the FULL double (triple in some spots!!!) rainbow from this week!
