When I was little, I listened to stories on tape. I had three or four favorites. One was about Suki, one about Phoebe, and one about Josephine. The tape was often quoted by my siblings. And our spouses have graciously smiled along even though they've never heard the stories. When we had Phoebe, we started looking for the tapes and realized they were missing. Assuming they had been worn out or lost, we gave up looking. When I told my family about Jemma Josephine, we started searching the internet for copies of the stories, but came up with nothing. Fast forward to today.
My mom emailed this morning and said she found the tape in a small metal file cabinet!!!!!!! I cannot believe it!!!! Some of my favorite pieces of my childhood FOUND! I cannot wait to listen to the stories again - especially Josephine's Doll (who inadvertently gets "sucked up the vacuum cleaner hose" in the story)!
