Bills this week: $0
Ways God is working: Our dossier is being authenticated and certified right now. Got sent on 1/27/15. God is working in His perfect timing so that our dossier gets to China at just the right moment. I need to trust Him to take care of it and not worry about our dossier getting lost in the holiday of Chinese New Year.
God is also preparing our family for our time apart. Phil was gone for a week for business and we were able to learn more about what works best for the kids. It’s important to help them sleep every night and make sure they go to the bathroom regularly. They also all like to all sleep in my room with me, but maybe while we both go to China, we will give each of the kids a t-shirt of ours to wear at bedtime to feel close to us. :)
Things learned: I started reading The Good Earth and Phil started reading One: Impossible Starts Here.
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: worked more on sorting toys, cleaning out Jemma's room, working on nursery decor, and "The Project", went to Ikea to pick up Jemma’s pillow, comforter insert, rug, and containers for her changing table.
While Phil was out of town, I moved furniture in four rooms and remodeled the laundry room - LOL - can someone say NESTING? (I’ve already checked the dryer hose for build-up and cleaned out junk from the junk drawer.)
What I am looking forward to: DTC!
Praying: Praying we can be DTC before Valentine's Day and LID before the Chinese New Year closure. Praying for Jemma in June!
