How Far Along: 38
How I'm feeling: excited, nervous, in awe, humbled...
Gender: GIRL!
Total bills so far: $19,017.89
Bills this week: $230 sent to Brody and Jenny as the second installment of paying for their plane tickets up from FL; we also made some "trip" purchases like a hard side suitcase, big sibling gifts for the day we leave, mac/cheese cups, small deodorant, travel laundry detergents, etc.
Ways God is working:
We are asking God to prepare our hearts for our daughter and her heart for leaving everything she has ever known to come with her new Mommy and Daddy.
We've been having great conversations with Brody and Jenny. Very excited for them to come stay with the kids!!! The post adoption Social Worker contacted us to introduce herself - love that we have her as a support and resource for ourselves and Jemma!
Things learned: Brody and Jenny are flying up the evening of July 1st. Phil's boss is driving us to the airport - how cool is that?
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: made some final purchases; installed Jemma's carseat in the Grumobile; met the post-adoption SW; set up the final travel call with LL; transferred the adoption money into our checking account; mailed everything off for the HAB fundraiser families; got my glasses and contacts for the trip; set up hair cut appointment; continued making lists; purchased gifts for nannies and guides
What I am looking forward to: meeting Jemma!
Pictures of the week:

Lily was so proud of Phoebe (who we are pretty sure was the youngest in her division) for getting two blue ribbons and a trophy!
Lily was the youngest in her division also (I didn't even think of that since she was placed based on her grade and not her age).
Poor Phoebe was really under the weather, otherwise I think she would have been much more enthusiastic about the whole event.
Sammy quickly fell asleep on the way home and we laughed and laughed because he looked like he was still cheering for the girls in his dreams. He kept holding his fists up! It was hilarious!
Jemma's carseat:
PopPop came to change out the faucets. Phoebe tried to help for a bit, but she was still pretty under the weather so our resident Helper went and laid on the couch.
And then PopPop drove off in the Sienna and we waved good-bye! It's on its way to Spokane, WA!!!
Daddy put in JJ's carseat:
The girls competed in a track and field camp and had their first meet on Friday:
