Home Study FINALLY finalized and new glimpses of our son!!!

Our home study is finally on its way to Lifeline to get sent off to USCIS tomorrow for immigration approval.  Phew - that was brutal!  I felt like it should have been much faster to take our already completed home study from a few months ago and add a child to it.  But there seemed to be tiny delay after tiny delay - and by tiny delay I mean something that could be cleared up very quickly but then ends up taking a week to coordinate people to have time to get on the same page!!!  AHHHHH!!!  I'm just so glad it's done!  Now it is overnighting it's way to Lifeline so that they can get that and our Supplement 3 (in this instance that means an addendum to our original immigration approval) off to USCIS for immigration approval.  I am expecting that to take about 4 weeks and then we have two weeks to wait for that paper to be certified and authenticated (and since I'm kind of complaining in this post, you'd think that a paper coming directly from the Department of Homeland Security would already be certified and authenticated, but you know... whatever).  All that to say, I'm hoping we are DTC (dossier to China) around December 8th.  :D

And because God is gracious, even when I'm a little grouchy about the "delays" (He's laughing), I got two new pictures in my email!!!

I was on the most recent trip to B., and wanted to send this photo to show you how kind and helpful your son was. One afternoon, we all went to the music room, but since it was all new, the staff had issues with equipment. The older boys came up with this solution: use the little speaker, and simply hold the microphone to it!  They held it like that for many songs, so the little kids could dance. So sweet!

He came to say bye before we pulled off the last evening:)
