Clearly Phil and I have a different picture in our minds about what our family would look like if we adopted the girls:
We're taking two seconds to sit with Phil's arm around me and reflecting.
I say: wanna know the picture that comes to mind when I think of our family if we adopt the twins?
Phil: sure
me: Make way for Ducklings. Ya know, with our little troupe? What sport do you need 5 for a team? Basketball.
Phil: Oh I think of Barnum and Bailey Circus! Totally "Apple Circus"! (which is a reference to Phoebe and Lily saying Apple Circus instead of Afro-Circus from the Madagascar movie)
Funny how Mommy sees the little ones as her little ducks all lined up with the feeling that at any time she could just wave them all under her wings, and Dada sees the chaos and commotion and probably the reality of having 5 children under the age of 7... 3 of them being 2 year olds!
