The kids came to visit yesterday.
Lily is so nurturing and encouraging to Sammy.
Even though Sammy couldn't focus his eyes on her face, I hope he was able to tell that she loves him and maybe recognize her voice.
Somehow I wasn't able to get pictures of Phoebe - probably because she was sitting on my lap.
Titus was upset that I told him he could hold Sammy's hand but when he tried Sammy didn't hold back. I had to show him how to hold Sammy's hand so he could get a response.

Titus was telling me he should climb into Sammy's bed and play with him. :)
Since that wasn't an option, we decided to look at all of Sammy's stuff.
Being a big brother is serious business at times.
The girls wore pretty dresses.

The nurse was SOOOO nice to let Sammy have his hands and movement to really rub his eye. He rubbed and rubbed and rubbed! It was a breath of fresh air for all three of us to let him do a normal baby thing in the midst of all of this!
