Seeing pictures of Sammy and his room
Each of the kids got recordable books so Mommy could read to them at home even when I'm at the hospital.
Each child got a little doll to color either for Sammy or for themselves.
Going into the ICU
Sammy had to be suctioned so we were waiting in the hallway.
After a short visit with Sammy, the kids got to go to the playroom.
They gave me birthday cards and gifts.
We had birthday dinner together in the parent lounge.
And had yummy birthday cake.
I just pretended to blow out the candles. (Pour Lily - she's a first born but her Mommy isn't so I appreciated Happy spelled out by her and the rest of the Birthday spelled out by the other two. Lily felt it needed to read Happy Birthday.)
Whoa - we look tired!
