Our adoption: 5 weeks

How Far Along: 5 weeks
How I'm feeling: excited - heard the gunshot and now we're off!
Gender....still waiting for the FOR SURE... girl!

Total bills so far: $4478.75
Bills this week$2338.75 first installment to Lifeline; $140 Letter of Intent
Ways God is working: Our doctor wrote and faxed the reference letter for the psychological evaluation.  We were accepted into the program to adopt again!

We enjoyed a sweet time telling our children about the coming adoption and their little sister.  We were able to share the news with Phil's parents (Grammy and Gramps).
Phil was able to do a presentation in church for Orphan Sunday (not about Jemma since we haven't made our news public yet).
Things learned: We got our "starter kit" and "China manual" so to list what we learned would be pages upon pages... fortunately, most of it isn't knew to us.  We will be doing 4.5 additional hours of education for this adoption.  Plus we will be doing a marriage survey.
Stuff we've done for the adoption this weekSubmitted our Letter of Intent (LOI)!  Waiting to be matched with Jemma!  Sifted through and finished all the initial paperwork for our home study and everything that can be done so far for our dossier (still need to compile the pictures that we want to send).
What I am looking forward to: Getting Pre-Approval (PA) saying we can be matched with Jemma; getting our home study submitted; sifting through more paperwork and getting it all submitted.

Praying: That Jemma can come home quickly so that we can bond with her and our kids through the summer.  Another miracle that we are asking of the Lord.
