Our adoption: 6 weeks

How Far Along: 6 weeks
How I'm feeling: wonderfully connected to my husband and grateful for the 4 children in my home!  so thankful for our social workers and the amazing agencies we work with!!!
Gender: ....hoping to know for sure before Thanksgiving!

Total bills so far: $4487.14
Bills this week$8.39 (mailed documents to ECFA and Lifeline)
Ways God is working: That in spite of the delay with doctor letters, God is still making the process move along.  While we wait for more doctor letters, our home study can continue getting finished and reviewed, we can do our education hours, and fill our our I800a form.  Still stuff to do instead of just waiting.  :)

We went to Starbucks to do our education hours while Grammy babysat the kids.  They gave us free dinner because they said they didn't want to waste it since they throw away the food every other day.
We were able to share with our Sunday School class today that we are adopting - super fun and very well-received.
We are receiving a very generous and loving donation of $100/month for 10 months for Jemma's adoption.  We have committed the funds for this adoption to the Lord and He is already working them out!
Things learned: that the in-China team needs ANOTHER doctor letter talking about the surgeries I've had (tonsils out when I was 10; thyroid out a number of years ago....) so we will be waiting again for Jemma to be matched with us
Stuff we've done for the adoption this weekGot our certificate of income and property notarized and mailed two big packets of signed paperwork to our adoption agencies; finished our 4.5 hours of education and the coordinating workbook; completed filling out the I800a and Supplement 2 for USCIS;
What I am looking forward to: We should be having our "orientation meeting" with our social worker this week - hahaha!  It is a little backwards, but so far, things are a little out of order with this adoption.  :)

Praying: That we can get pre-approval before Thanksgiving.
