How I'm feeling: urgent... like I need to get the house organized and Jemma's room ready... I feel like it's going to take a while, so I want/need to get started!

Ways God is working: we received our USCIS receipt Monday, December 22nd and then the following day, we got the fingerprint appointment in the mail - January 5th! I was a little concerned that it would be during Phil's trip to Madrid and was praying that the Lord would work it out. Also, we decided we weren't going to try and "walk-in" this time. I didn't feel at peace about breaking the rules this time and I believe the Lord is continuing to honor our desire to obey and trust Him. A January 5th appointment is much sooner than I could have hoped!
Things learned: That quality time gifts make good Christmas presents!
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: prayed for Jemma - wondered about Jemma - longed for Jemma - wished to see her face again...
What I am looking forward to: finishing our dossier
Praying: that our fingerprints will be approved quickly and the I797 would be received quickly so that we can get our dossier authenticated and certified; that we could be DTC before Valentine's Day and that Jemma can come home before the summer
