How Far Along: 14 weeks
How I'm feeling: Even more urgent than last week - I need to clean EVERYTHING!
Gender: GIRL!
Total bills so far: $7962.89
Bills this week: 0
Ways God is working: He's working behind the scenes. I also believe that He is answering my prayers to be close to Jemma... to rock her to sleep, cradle her, fill her tummy, keep her warm, let her feel His breath on her cheek, and feel His love wrapped around her.
We have our fingerprint appointment tomorrow morning, bright and early.
He has brought us through Strep, funerals, bronchitis, allergic reactions to medications, surgery, stomach flu... all in a row... Praise the Lord He brought us through!
Things learned: That we can send 4-5 questions to Jemma's orphanage and ask for an update (and pictures hopefully)!
Not to... never ever... don't even think about... super glue the day before the fingerprint appointment. Period.
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: continued to pray, started cleaning and organizing, put Jemma's stuff in a bin so it stays nice and clean and is ready to go when we get the approval.
What I am looking forward to: getting our I800a approval and starting the authentication and certification process; getting our fingerprints finished tomorrow; finishing our dossier (need to take pictures of our house and write a letter of adoption to go with the dossier)
Praying: that our fingerprints will be approved quickly and the I797 (the approval) would be received quickly so that we can get our dossier authenticated and certified; that we could be DTC before Valentine's Day and that Jemma can come home before the summer
Pictures of the week:
I took pictures of how messy our house is because my friend said to take before an afters to help motivate the cleaning. I'm not posting them. :)
I also took videos of all the kids getting their New Year's Eve interviews - so cute - but they are too big at the moment to upload and tomorrow's a school day so I need to get going on that!
