I am just amazed at what God has done with this adoption! Waiting for adoptions is usually not considered an exciting, joyful, time of your life! But honestly, I'm having SO much fun right now! At the beginning of the adoption, we committed to focusing on the life and family we have now and not pining for the future. I'm finding a lot of joy in doing stuff with the kids, getting stuff cleared out of the house and ready for rummage, and school. I'm having fun with the auction and hot air balloon project. I feel freer each time I price something for the rummage sale and declutter a little more. Plus, I still feel like time is going quickly. If our LOA (letter of approval) makes a snappy arrival at the end of April or beginning of May, then we'll need to start getting things lined up for the big trip. And I have plenty of stuff to do before LOA. So, I'm happy!
So, to God be the glory, honor, and praise! This adoption is so much more than I could have ever asked or imagined!
