How Far Along: 28 weeks
How I'm feeling: what's a word for "really wanting to email my social worker every morning to find out our dossier status but trying to hold out so I don't become annoying"? :)
Gender: GIRL!
Total bills so far: $12246.39
Bills this week: $0
Ways God is working: The auction brought in $2,056! What a success!
Found a BEAUTIFUL song for Jemma - One Drop by Plumb.
Things learned: We will be hanging out with a couple this Saturday who may be able to be "house parents" while we're in China. We are really thinking through what will be best for the kids and everyone involved... doing a lot of talking and praying!
Our dear friends announced that they are adopting from China - very very excited to share that journey with them!
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: Finished up with the auction and continued readying the stuff for the rummage sale. I hung shelves in the basement this week and have been organizing throughout the house. Not sure if I'll ever finish! But it is freeing to keep putting things in the rummage sale room!
What I am looking forward to: Pretty much LOA.
Also, warmer weather so I can start setting up for the rummage outside instead of in our house!
Praying: That everyone will pay quickly for their auction items and Whitney can get back normal life! :)
For Phil as he's in Slovakia this week.
That our dossier will move out of translation quickly and into review so we can get LOA!
That the Lord would give us complete peace and unmistakable wisdom and clarity regarding the children's care while we're in China.
