How Far Along: 29 weeks
How I'm feeling: excited - waffling between high energy and productivity and total exhaustion... maybe I'll get a middle ground at some point - HAHAHA!
Gender: GIRL!
Total bills so far: $12246.39
Bills this week: $0
Ways God is working: We had a wonderful visit with potential house parents this weekend! As in AMAZING!
Phil had a good trip to Slovakia and the kids did GREAT while he was away!
Just found out today that our dossier is Out Of Translation and "In review"!!! That means we are close to our Letter of Approval (LOA)!
Our hot air balloon project is slowly lifting off the ground! It's just so amazing because the Lord has something planned and we're just riding along praying that we don't rush ahead of Him!
Things learned: That there is a common product that adoptive families (Mommies) buy for their summer trips to China - it's called "anti-monkey butt powder"... The women in my DTC group swear by it and say it's a must have, especially for a July trip. We'll see if I can bring myself to buy a product called anti-monkey butt. LOL
Our dossier is "in review". After this phase is completed, then we will be in the "match" process. This will be quick since we are already matched with Jemma. Once our dossier is "matched" then our Letter of Approval will be issued. We will get that overnighted to us and sign it saying we accept the match and intend to adopt Jemma and then overnight it back along with our paperwork asking the US government to approve Jemma for immigration. :D The next 8-10 weeks are complicated so I'll stop the explanation there and just explain as we go.

Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: Priced all my maternity and nursing clothes for the rummage sale
What I am looking forward to: honestly, I just want to get the house clean... is that going to be what I look forward to the rest of my life or is it ever going to be completed? This week, I'd like to start hauling things out! I think I'm only going to sell some of my things and all the baby clothes and maternity/nursing stuff, but everything else I want to donate to the Rorabeck's rummage sale.
Praying: Wisdom and clarity for the "house parents" situation; Timing for Jemma's adoption; Health for our trip to China; energy to get the house cleaned out and free of clutter; wisdom in our schooling choices for next year; LOA
