To make it easier for people to understand where we are in the process I post an update each Tuesday about what we are currently waiting for and how long we expect things to take.
TUESDAY TIMELINE: Waiting for 800a approval; we received our receipt after 11 days and our fingerprint appt after 1 day! (We were told to expect it to be 2 weeks to receive receipt and then 2 more weeks to receive our appointment, so we are thrilled!)
Our fingerprint appointment is May 20th. I don't know how long it takes for our fingerprints to be approved and then our immigration paperwork (800a application) approved, but I will for sure ask about that at our appointment.
