How I'm feeling: this week I have been grouchy, moping around, unmotivated, missing my little boy, but TODAY I AM RELIEVED!

Favorite Moments: We got a surprise this week! Two pictures - totally blew us away!!! And Sammy's holding the monkey we sent in one of the pictures!!!!!
Also, wonderful friends of ours, who are basically family to us and our children, were married on Saturday! It was such a celebration!!!
Sunday we went and surprised Mom at the hospital for "church". We sang Great is Thy Faithfulness, read Jesus Calling and the Scripture passages with it, Lily read the story of Samuel and Hannah, and then all 6 of us took turns praying. It was really special!
THEN JUST THIS MORNING, PHIL GOT THE EMAIL SAYING THAT OUR ARTICLE 5 WAS READY FOR PICK UP SO THAT THE CCCWA CAN ISSUE OUR TRAVEL APPROVAL!!!! I CALLED KARLA AND ASKED IF THE EMAIL WAS SPAM - LOLOLOL! She, of course, chuckled and said no it was not spam and that they had already overnighted the paperwork to the CCCWA and we had begun our wait for Travel Approval. She's so nice. :D
*I forgot to add that we got a $750 grant this week from Forever Families - a ministry offering financial aid and support and encouragement to adoptive families!!! THANK YOU FOREVER FAMILIES!

Things learned: Sammy's final measurements before travel: 80cm, 11kg, 47cm head, 47cm chest, 11cm foot, 12 teeth
What we're waiting for: TRAVEL APPROVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunday and Monday are working days this coming week and then there is a holiday from October 1-8. I don't expect to hear anything regarding travel approval until after the holiday. Travel approval can take 3-4 weeks to get.
