Favorite Moments: We got our pdf! We got the approval Friday night, but the pdf didn't come until Tuesday morning. What an experience - calling NVC and waiting on hold for 45 minutes to ask if they'd issue it for us. They were all VERY nice!
I got lots done for medical this week and we picked up a few things from the shopping list: ziplock bags, different kinds of wipes. And today, Sammy's new clothes arrived (the bunting is PINK - so I'm exchanging it) and my gut tells me that he'll swim in them. I feel torn about what to do... take two sizes or just let him swim in the clothes???
**Update** I cannot believe I forgot to say one of the biggest things that happened this week! Everything has finally come together for the kids' care while we will be traveling!!! THIS IS A HUGE RELIEF!!!!!

Things learned: Well, this week we learned good news for our family. I've been waiting to write about it. We learned a few weeks ago that my mom, Sammy's Nana, has breast cancer that has "metastasized" or spread to her bones. It is throughout her entire skeletal frame. We have cried a lot of tears over the last few weeks. Sometime soon, I'd like to write about how God has carried us through. In the meantime, the good news is that the CT scan this week showed that they cancer has not yet spread to her organs. We know that the cancer is ultimately terminal, but the answer to prayer is that Sammy will be able to meet his Nana and get to know her before the Lord takes her home to be with Him.
What we're waiting for: One last signature! And then Travel Approval! The signature can take 2 weeks and travel approval can take 3-4 weeks.

Daddy surprised me with a DATE! He got tickets to the Brewers game from work and got a babysitter and took me out!!! We celebrating PDF day!
