Our Adoption: 4 weeks

How Far Along: 4 weeks
How I'm feeling: excited - feeling like we're on the starting line of the best marathon in the world and we're just about to hear the gunshot to start the race!!!
Gender....still waiting for the FOR SURE... girl!

Total bills so far: $2000
Bills this week$1700 for the home study
Ways God is working: Everything was worked out for our psych evaluations with our agencies, pastor, and doctor.  We completed the test and our results were faxed to our doctor this morning.  He has to write the letter and fax it to our agency so we can be accepted.

We only had to do one home study visit to complete our home study.  It was so great to get together with our social worker again!  She is such a wonderful lady!
The paperwork is not so intimidating this time and we better understand what we're doing.
The $2500 home study fee was discounted to $1700 for 2nd adoptions!  A savings of $800!!!
Things learned: That our psychological evaluation is the same test we took in pre-marital counseling!  Hahaha!  Nice!  I wonder what the results will say now!!!
Stuff we've done for the adoption this weekHome study interview (the only one we had to do this time); sent out reference letter requests, started compiling stuff for Letter of Intent, took the Taylor Johnson Temperament Assessment, finished medicals.
What I am looking forward to: Getting the "pre-pre-approval" saying we can adopt again; finishing our home study and LOI and starting on the dossier; telling our kids that they are getting a new sister!!!
