How Far Along: 32 weeks
How I'm feeling: cool, calm, collected, and the first feelings of LOVE!

Ways God is working: I'd say the biggest way God is working is preparing our hearts for our new daughter! We received updated pictures and I saw my daughter in a new light. I felt love and affection for the first time which was WONDERFUL! I long to go pick her up and feel her in my arms.
Things learned: Our 800 was received and is moving through the approval process (10-14 business days). For this Mother's Day, I changed my perspective. The night before the day, I laid in bed thinking about my expectations for the day. (This last week, I colored on the wall with Phoebe and it was kind of life changing.) I decided that for this Mother's Day, I would help each child offer me a gift that would be memorable. And wow, what a special day it was, and I think it's because my expectation changed - I wanted the day to be individually special with each child and each one was able to do something special. Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: Not really for our adoption, but we cleaned out the garage and sent a bunch of stuff over to the Rorabecks for their adoption rummage sale fundraiser. OH and the lace arrived for Jemma's bed skirt so I made that. Looks so pretty! Plus I started laying out my outfits.
What I am looking forward to: getting Jemma's room officially finished, getting our rummage sale all set up, getting on a plane with Phil!
Praying: that we can meet Jemma on July 6th.

Mother's Day Eve, Grammy came over and we had pizza and watched Alexander and the Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and Big Hero 6. This was her present:
On Mother's Day:
Phoebe went with Daddy to buy donuts (her love language!)
After church, Titus bought me Starbucks (my love language!)
My family came over for sundaes and to here Seesa's stories about her trip to China.
Nana and PopPop got a scratch off map of the world for Mother's Day and Father's Day to mark off all the countries they've visited.
Lily gave me a manicure. LOVE it!
Sammy went shopping with Daddy and bought me a flowering cactus and my favorite candy!
