How Far Along: 39
How I'm feeling: excited (to zip the suitcase the final time - ha!), curious (I wonder what it will be like to hold Jemma and meet her and take her to the hotel), peaceful, sore throat/ear ache/swollen glands
Gender: GIRL!
Total bills so far: $34,857.89
Bills this week: $11,820 wired to China for hotels, Orphanage donation, Official fees, flights in China, tourism, medical appointment, visa and passport; $20 wire fee to have Lifeline do it for us instead of our own bank; $4000 cash to take on our persons for incidentals, souvenirs, meals, orphanage visit, transportation to Hong Kong
Ways God is working:
He has provided every last cent for Jemma's adoption.
This week when everyone's been sick, God put a rainbow in the sky.
We know that God picked just the right places for us to stay while in China and that He already has the flights and weather and encounters ordained.
We've been able to share in many different ways, including with the people at our bank, about what God has done through Jemma's adoption.
We had the opportunity to sneak away for a little bit on a date Saturday morning!
We have meals in our freezer. :)
Stuff we've done for the adoption this week: power of attorney for the kids while we're in China, haircuts, overnighted check to Lifeline for wire, printed pages of child care information for Brody and Jenny, finished Jemma's room, figured out the wifi router for our hotel rooms with the help of new friends from our Facebook group, got Jemma cheerios cooking day (weekend), ...toooooo many things to list!
What I am looking forward to: seeing Brody and Jenny TOMORROW!!! HOLDING JEMMA IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!!
